Ansaldo

ANSALDO is the leading Italian architect engineer for the construction of power plants and the main designer and constructor of electro-mechanical components. In the frame of the activities for the EU Fusion Programme, ANSALDO has manufactured several key fusion machine components like su-perconducting magnets, plasma facing components, power supply converters and remote handling equipment. As a member of the EFET grouping, ANSALDO has contributed to the detailed design of most of the ITER load assembly components and, in addition, to the power supplies and to the primary heat transfer system.
