AREVA NP SAS (Advanced Nuclear Power) is the world's premier nuclear supplier. Combining the nuclear activities of AREVA NP SAS and Siemens, it's focus includes power plant services, modernization and nuclear fuel supply for many reactor designs, including those supplied by other vendors, heavy component manufacture and the development and turnkey construction of nuclear power plants and research reactors. The area of our activities in fusion programmes is principally related to the Tokamak Primary Components such as First Wall, Shielding, Vacuum Vessel, Blanket, Divertor, Antennas, Coils and associated Remote Handling Operations. These activities, performed mainly for JET, ITER and European long term programmes, consist in :

studies ( feasibility,design,calculation,safety,reliability and costing )
supply ( mock-ups, prototypes and tokamak components )
testing ( first wall and divertor )

As part of its overall activities in fusion developments, AREVA ANP SAS calls extensively on small and medium size enterprises with specific skills as subcontractors.
